01 / A LIVING WORLD
More than a place.
A place to belong.
Builders raise houses. Miners bring supplies. A village grows — and you become part of its story.
Minecraft, reimagined / RPG
Villages grow. Airships rise. Magic comes alive.
A new chapter in the Minecraft you love.
Closed alpha·By invitation
Welcome to Emberwake
The freedom of Minecraft. The depth of an RPG. Discover a world that keeps growing while you find your own way.
01 / A LIVING WORLD
Builders raise houses. Miners bring supplies. A village grows — and you become part of its story.
02 / NEW HORIZONS
Your airship. Built from real blocks.
03 / SMALL WONDERS
Copper golems keep the warehouse in order.
Vanilla stays vanilla. Emberwake layers a role-playing world on top of the game without replacing it — you lose nothing, you gain a world.
Log in and play. No mods, no client installation, no configuration — everything happens on the server.
Everything that matters happens in the world itself: signs, menus, items. You will never need a command line.
What awaits you
Every system feeds into the next — and it all runs on its own while you play.
More than 35 spells, tiered magic wands, arcane trinkets — and a mastery rank you earn for every single spell.
Villages that build themselves: residents plan roads, raise houses, run warehouses and mines — fully automatic, while you watch.
Level your skills all the way to 100 and unlock meaningful milestone bonuses along the way.
A magical quarry that mines for you — with a visible mining beam and ten upgrade tiers from novice to masterwork.
Open your own shops from a chest and a sign, trade with players and merchants — an economy the server itself keeps alive.
Share your balance, land and chests — and grow together with couple perks you cannot get alone.
Discover waystones across the world and travel between them with ease. Death stays gentle — adventure should be fun, not punishing.
Protect your home in seconds. What is yours stays yours — even while you are offline.
The World
Three examples of how the world around you changes.
A town starts with only a few huts and grows alongside its residents. Builders plan new plots and gradually construct larger buildings — until even a town hall with a bell tower stands at its centre. Paths and tunnels connect it with nearby settlements.
Every spell looks different and has an effect of its own: some launch projectiles, while others create a healing area. You learn most of them from scrolls. Three special spells unlock automatically once your magic reaches a high enough level.
Use hinges and rope winches to build working drawbridges, portcullises and lifts. At the shipyard, you can even turn ordinary blocks into an airship of your own and pilot it yourself.

Roadmap
These features are next on the list. There are no fixed release dates yet.
Waterwheels and windmills are intended to power machines such as mills, sawmills, mixers and bellows. The system is still being developed and tested.
Neighbouring towns can already be connected by paths. Longer roads across varied terrain are not yet reliable.
Specialising in a school of magic already reduces your mana use. More benefits for specialisations are planned.
Before the server opens to more players, there will be clear rules for building and ownership outside the towns.
Before you set out
Emberwake is in closed alpha. Request an invitation; once approved, set up your account and find the server address in your signed-in area.
The RPG features run on the server. You do not need client mods to play. The optional shader pack needs Iris on your computer.
The resource pack provides the 3D models. EmberwakeShaders adds lighting and reflections; PBR supplies optional material detail. You only need the plugin if you run your own Paper server.
Absolutely. You can explore magic, professions and the village systems at your own pace — or simply play Minecraft the way you enjoy it.
